The latest updates on community plans for the Marine Ward incl. Adur Rec - by residents, for residents.
Local volunteers have been working on a neighbourhood plan for a long time now. We’ve combined all the ideas and feedback from previous Have Your Say Days, surveys and workshops... found out what’s possible, and affordable… and are excited to present and discuss the results.
A lot has changed since we started the Forum. Many of our proposals have been implemented in one way or another... and we’re well aware that a statutory Neighbourhood Plan document - subject to referendum - may no longer be the best way to improve our area.
We have a number of options and would like your input on the best way forward.

For those who live or work on the beach.
What to expect at this public consultation:
- Designs for Beach Green, incl. parking, eco-friendly energy, and spaces for young people,
- Future vision videos,
- Presentations (development, transport, facilities, eco)
- Surveys,
- Future of the plan and alternatives,
- Ways to get involved.
